One of my New Year’s Resolutions
Have you read the book “One Thousand Gifts” by Ann Vos Kamp? If not, then you totally should. It’s an awesome book my Sunday school teacher recommended to me. The book is all about living in God’s grace and giving thanks for the many blessings in our lives we would probably would not think about, much less thank Him for. The author came up with a list of 1000 gifts. I am going to try to do the same. I have not set a specific goal for myself with a certain number of gifts I want to track, I am just going to write them down as they come. What are some of your gifts?

Everyday I’m Thanking Him
New year, new me, new relationship with God! I am excited for what 2012 has to bring! 2011 was kind of rough year for me. I had four jobs, moved to Alabama, moved back to South Carolina, my sister got married, and had more than a handful of fallout’s with my friends. It’s easy for me to always dwell on the negative, so this is all about being positive and looking forward. Part of that is to find something that I am thankful for everyday. I recently read “One Thousand Gifts” by Ann Voskamp. It is a story about her living Eucharisteo. God’s grace is so good, that I struggle with accepting it at times. I also struggle in showing grace to others. This year I hope to show grace to people in need to love everyday.

what time is it?
This is a question we get frequently from our kids. But lately I have been asking myself the same question. Camp is coming to close in a few weeks, and I will be making the journey home. I do not know what is coming up in my life for the next couple of months and I am excited. I am excited to get back to my friends and family and have a awesome summer full of adventures. So what time is it? Time to buy kayak, time to get a job at a camp back home, time to hike the AP. I am taking suggestions, so please leave them!
